Hello everyone and welcome to my webpage. I will be using this site to post assignments for my Research in Allied Health class that I am currently taking.
I would like to share with you a little about myself. First of all, Tamara is my real name but to everyone who knows me personally, I am Tammy. I have been happily married to my husband Chris for almost 16 years. We have a 10 year old daughter, Morgan, a seven year old son, Grayson and a miniature dachshund, Raleigh. We live in Lexington, North Carolina.
I graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College in 1993 with an AAS degree in Nuclear Medicine. I am a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist and work as a clinical and classroom instructor at my alma mater in the Nuclear Medicine Program. My goal is to earn my BS degree in Allied Health Leadership from ETSU and continue to work as an educator in my profession.
I spend the majority of my time keeping up with my kids and their activities, soccer and golf. After all they are only small once. I love dancing, singing,animals and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and swimming. However, its hard to find time to enjoy any of these things unless they include my children.
I have been most inspired by my son, who has cystic fibrosis. His happy go lucky, love for life, and never give up attitude is amazing. My children have truly changed the way I look at life.
